First, the colors. They contrast perfectly, making the surrounding ethereal and beautiful. Especially the woman, which she looks realistically glowing.
Also, the detail is magnificent. The water seems to move, shimmering and flowing as real water would. And the pattern on the snake is subtle yet effective.
The emotion you feel is excellent as well. Admiration leaks from my computer. Though her face is not clear, the feeling is.
I applaud you for how well you have constructed this. It's eye catching, magnificent, and truly a work of art.

Her design is complex,she looks wise and calm,while he seems to be gazing at her beauty,almost as if he admires her.I get a feeling of an impossible love or one that just catches your attention.The water is the symbol of life along with the tree(it looks like a forest environment).The snake also made me curious,since it's the symbol of deceit in religion and it's looking at the human,so he's either taking a risk to see his love or it's her pet,no idea.
The colours make a beautiful contrast between dark and the highlights coming from the sun through the branches.Wonderful use of green tones and blue ones for the water,brown and black represent the dark,the unknown.
In the end I wanna apologize for my english,I couldn't help but say my opinion about this stunning work
