I love Klimt and you've done a great job of channeling some of his hallmarks here. Gold flake aside, the female figure dominating the piece and way the shapes dissolve into abstraction is very much Klimt. You'd also done a great job simulating the physical painterly quality of his works which is quite difficult in the digital medium. However this feels a bit lacking in the background and parts of the gold highlights which feel a bit flat and or digital. I like the gray scale color scheme though this is definitely the biggest departure you've taken from the inspiration. I also like the circle texture going on through the hair and background. Well done.

perfect. Simply perfect. I absolutely adore Klimt's work, and you definitely portrayed his style perfectly. I could tell immediately who you were referencing, yet I appreciate the spin you took on his style by using your own in combination. (:

I've been looking though your gallery. What kind of brushes do you use to achieve your painterly effects in photoshop? I'd love a tutorial if you ever have time!
It looks very Klimt! I love it!
Oh that is very nice, especially the more subtle pattern over her hair. I like the almost clockwork quality of it, too.
This is incredible. Simple yet complex, and very, very elegant.
I love it!
The mixtures of textures here look really interesting (in a fantastic way!). It literally looks like gold flakes have settled on my screen. Really cool work here.
I'm not a huge Klimt fan but I really love this piece. It's absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making it.

Wow, taken away by the texture - particularly in the gold which almost had me believing it was another media altogether.
Creative, inspiring, beautiful, very easy on the eyes and a delight to look at. Been looking at your entries for a long time but never had an account to say how much I've enjoyed doing so.~
