I love Klimt and you've done a great job of channeling some of his hallmarks here. Gold flake aside, the female figure dominating the piece and way the shapes dissolve into abstraction is very much Klimt. You'd also done a great job simulating the physical painterly quality of his works which is quite difficult in the digital medium. However this feels a bit lacking in the background and parts of the gold highlights which feel a bit flat and or digital. I like the gray scale color scheme though this is definitely the biggest departure you've taken from the inspiration. I also like the circle texture going on through the hair and background. Well done.
perfect. Simply perfect. I absolutely adore Klimt's work, and you definitely portrayed his style perfectly. I could tell immediately who you were referencing, yet I appreciate the spin you took on his style by using your own in combination. (:
