I like the overall feel to this piece; especially since I prefer dark colors when it comes to most art; though if some art use the colors correctly and not go overboard with it bright artwork can also be very nice. The darkness of the background fits her very well. I like the colors as well. And the jewlery on her cloak looks nice as well. The only thing I see that could be fixed with this piece would be that I think her eyes could be brightened, by taking away the coloring from around the pupils of hers eyes so that the red of the pupils stand out more.
I absolutely adore this piece. Since it has a dark overtone to it, which is something I think more people should do. The way the hair is flowing along with this sort of tiredness to her eyes helps with the overall view of a Hunter. I love how at first you see her face but then your eyes get dragged down to the corner where the flower like brooch is. The way the fabric is "woven" together shows a certain primitive to the entirety of the picture. The way the gold and red interact with the dark background Help contribute to the way this piece is artfully put together. I also like the tattoo on her forehead which not only draws attention to the face but the fact that she might be higher in rank than someone else.
