Holy Cow!! This is amazing, the distant look in her eye gives the impression that she is indiverent to the world but the tear trail show that she really does care and is concerned about what happens. The way her hair moves out in the water around her shoulders is done fantasticly as is the water. Her eyes seem to stare straight into you and the way the picture seems to be lit by the blue pendent on her necklace adds an air of mystery. All in all I say fantasticly done and it really is magnificent. keep up the good work (p.s. to the artist, not stalking you my friend has been showing my your stuff for a month and i finally remembered your DA name, so had to tell you what i think.)

This is a visually lovely piece. The colours are soft, and well chosen, the girl's face is lovely and yet sad, perhaps even resolved. I really like her head piece; seems almost elvish, but perhaps that's what my mind thought of first after reading the title. The water effect is fantastic, and while you don't precisely see it, the suggestion that her hair is floating on the surface allows the viewer to imagine the world outside the picture.
However, the one thing that seems to me to destroy the fantasy of the piece is the hand appearing from the water holding the girl's jewel. It seems stiff and underdeveloped, and with the quality that frequently comes from you I was rather surprised by that. The girl's face is polished, same with the neck and collar bones that you see above the water, then there is the hand... it doesn't match. Was it a last minuet addition? I think that this piece would be perfect if her hand was given the same care and attention as the rest of her, especially since that jewel is really beautiful and deserves to be shown off.

I shouldn't telling this such a good artist like you, but her hand is just funny xD
it looks likeshe doesn't have a bones... you could let the neackle floating on the water,
hand doesn't match there in any way >u>'' even if you fix it
but it's only my opinion ^^;
